There are 3 modules in this course

Before exploring musculoskeletal anatomy, it is important to understand the basic anatomical terminology and concepts used throughout the course. Lesson 0 provides this foundational material and may be skipped by learners who are already familiar with these concepts. The Skeletal System module provides an in-depth introduction to the structure and function of the skeletal system. You will examine the composition of bone, distinguish between compact and spongy bone, and explore the processes of bone growth and remodeling. The module also covers the roles of minerals, vitamins, and hormones in maintaining bone health, introduces common bone disorders, and examines the major bone types, anatomical features, and key landmarks of the axial and appendicular skeleton.
