In this Specialization, you will build intermediate English communication skills through timely, global topics that move from technology and customs to nature and sustainability, then to psychology and sociology. Across three courses, you will expand topic-specific vocabulary, practice grammar for predictions, past experiences, advice, linking ideas, articles, conditionals, and wishes, and respond to texts, videos, and discussions. By the end, you will be better prepared to share ideas, explain experiences, and participate in thoughtful conversations about contemporary issues and human behavior.
Applied Learning Project
Throughout the Specialization, you will complete travelpost activities and discussions that ask you to respond to topics such as technological change, customs, climate change, sustainability, identity, and community life. You will also engage with readings, videos, and comprehension tasks to interpret information, express opinions, compare experiences, and build clearer written and spoken responses as the topics become more complex.
