Admission to the online Master of Science in Finance is selective and requires evidence of strong quantitative abilities. Because the program is designed to provide additional expertise in finance to professionals at all stages of their careers, professional work experience is not required for admission.
Paying for your degree
- Personal or corporate investment The OU team is prepared to help you consider funding the investment personally or involving your company for tuition reimbursement.
- Tuition & schedule Your investment for the program is $985 a credit hour. If accepted into the program, a $350 deposit is required to hold your spot in the class.

Upon program completion, you will receive your diploma from the University of Oklahoma. It is conferred for a Master of Science in Finance. It does not have any "online" or "Coursera" designations.
The online MS Finance program falls under the University of Oklahoma’s overall accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).
You can access course materials on the Coursera platform anytime from anywhere. Courses have been designed by OU’s faculty specifically for an online learning environment.
