By the end of this course, learners will be able to analyze Tesla’s sales performance, interpret annual reports, project revenues and costs, forecast capital expenditures, and link all major financial statements into a cohesive model. They will also calculate free cash flows, apply WACC for valuations, determine Tesla’s terminal value and target share price, and conduct ratio analysis to evaluate overall performance.
This course equips learners with practical financial modeling skills by using Tesla Inc. as a real-world case study. Participants will benefit from step-by-step guidance that blends financial theory with Excel modeling, enabling them to build and interpret models that mirror industry standards. Unlike generic financial modeling courses, this program focuses on Tesla’s dynamic growth story, providing insights into both the automotive and renewable energy sectors.
What makes this course unique is its end-to-end approach—covering everything from data sourcing and working capital analysis to advanced valuation and sensitivity testing. Learners will not only develop technical expertise in financial modeling but also gain the confidence to apply these methods to real-world corporate analysis and investment decision-making.
This module introduces the foundation of Tesla’s financial model by examining sales performance, analyzing historical data, and exploring the company’s official reports. Learners will understand the role of consolidated financial statements, calculate historical growth rates, project revenue, and forecast key expenses. Emphasis is placed on structuring inputs, assumptions, and working capital to establish a reliable base for the model.
