Professor Adam Gearey

Bio

Adam Gearey is a Professor in the School of Law at Birkbeck College, University of London. He teaches courses on legal method, social justice and welfare law. Most recently he has been a visiting scholar at The Center for Law and Society, University of California, Berkeley and a visiting professor at the University of Peace, Costa Rica. Adam Gearey is also active in teaching the Undergraduate Laws programme offered by the University of London. He teaches jurisprudence for the School of Professional and Continuing Education at the University of Hong Kong and is convenor of the Common Law Reasoning and Institutions course organised by the University of London. His most recent book is ‘Justice as Welfare’ (New York: Continuum, 2012)
