Josh Pasek is a Professor of Communication & Media and Political Science, Research Professor at the Center for Political Studies, and core faculty at the Michigan Institute for Data & AI in Society (MIDAS) at the University of Michigan. His research explores how media messages and psychological processes shape social and political attitudes, opinions, and behaviors. Josh also studies approaches for social measurement. His three books and more than 40 articles examine applications of data science to the study of elections and Josh maintains two statistical packages for analyzing survey data.
