Dr. Yuko Yotsumoto is a Professor in the Department of Life Sciences at the University of Tokyo and serves as Director of the Institute for Diversity and Adaptation of Human Mind. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Brandeis University (Massachusetts, USA) in 2005 and later earned a Ph.D. in Arts and Sciences from the University of Tokyo. Her research focuses on the cognitive neuroscience of perception, with particular emphasis on time perception, psychophysics, and the neural mechanisms underlying sensory and cognitive processes. Dr. Yotsumoto has been active in promoting cross-disciplinary collaborations in psychology and neuroscience.
