This was a challenging course. The instructor is very knowledgeable on Spreadsheets and SQL but there are some times when she goes too fast for beginners like myself. I suspect that this is probably due to limitations and restrictions that the team at Google placed on this course. It can be improved. But there are plenty of resources given to find the answers one is looking for, provided that the learner is willing to dig in and investigate. Wish you the best.

Very informative material, espeically SQL & BigQuery. I'm not fond of "Select All That Apply" challenge questions, but I suppose they do serve a purpose... I simply need to read ALL of the words contained in challenge questions so that I can provide a complete response. Looking forward to a future where I might be able to use all of this newfound knowledge. The course presenter was yet another extraordinarily smart indvidual from the Google Team.

The material was good but could be more challenging , I wish the course used real datasets and provided excercises on this dataset. For instance Choose a dataset and explain the concepts first and send the partipant to explore and answer questions about the dataset. What I mean is From the first course Choose a made up problem and have the learner solve the problem with the concepts learned as if it were facing a real problem at a real company.

The course was highly informative and provided valuable insights into analyzing data. The content was well-structured, and the explanations were clear and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the practical examples and real-world scenarios used to demonstrate the concepts. Overall, it was a great learning experience, and I would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in enhancing their data analysis skills.

Good content over all. Well worth taking. Warning: Some of the SQL examples fail to run in BigQuery as they are written in the course. That made it very frustrating to try to learn from them. If you are new to SQL and don't get too attached to everything being perfect. As long as you are learning the concepts you'll be OK. Take the time to make great notes that you can use later in your career as a Data Analyst.

This Course from Google, gave me an in-depth view of SQL and Spreadsheet Functions & Formulas for Data Analysis.

Indeed, After completing this course, and following through the hands-on sessions on BigQuery, my SQL skills have been sharpened and my ability to have an in-depth approach to any data analytics project has been galvanized.

In the Google Data Analytics Professional Certification journey, this was by far the toughest course so far. However, the instructor was great. The emphasis was more on on the video sessions in parallel, which was great. Ayanna was also to the point (more like a strict professor :) in a good way) which made the session focussed BUT a bit intensive, personally for me. Overall, excellent course.

I must say it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The course material was exceptionally well-structured, comprehensive, and easy to understand. The teaching methods were engaging, making it easy to follow along and retain the information. I particularly enjoyed the hands-on approach and the practical exercises that allowed me to apply the concepts I learned in a real-world context.

I like the way Google constructs the course. It truly aims for beginners with no prior experience required. The contents and exercises are focused enough so that students are familiarized with the new tools introduced via repetition of exercises and lectures. The facility given, the Google Cloud Platform, together with the assignments help to put the theory into practice. I enjoy it.

I like the way the course breaks things down and often repeats key ideas and terms. It has its problems when working on BigQuery where I had some difficulties following along, but that is partly due to my primitive abilities, too. Mostly, I think it's a good course, but I will absolutely need to study more SQL on my own when I finish all 8 parts of the Data Analytics course.

This course though seemed long and undiwnding, it was challenging and rewarding at the same time with quzies,tests,projects feedback that really helped and took me to the next level. I look foward to carry my learning and apply it on Visualisation course going forward. Analyze data and make sure you have authentic data to begin with is an important step in the process.

This course gave great insights on how to analyze the data using tools like SQL and spreadsheets. It was easy to understand and thanks to resource materials it was possible to refer when stuck. Only thing I wish was if there was more hands on practices especially with the functions. Cause it can get quite confusing when using SQL and spreadsheet, due to the similarity.

This was the best course in the Google Data Analytics so far. An excellent mix of videos and practical excersizes, well aligned, perfectly organized and very pleasantly interfaced! My complements, because this course really makes you jump into the main practical approaches of Data Analysis (working with Google Sheets and SQL). Looking forward to the next course!!

I was strugling with using biq query not becasue it's difficult but i got an issue with registration for free trial and i was stuck so i unable to make it and i ended up using my sql for practice. i think i'm not the only one who had strugling with it. so maybe if i could ask, it's better to have another tools beside big query for teaching practice. thank you.

This is an essential element of analysis, and the instructor lead a fantastic facilitation of it. I learned quite a lot - not just in using the tools, but how to think through , with, and for the tools within spreadsheets and SQL. It was quite a lot to think on, learn and practice. However, I felt the curve drive in learning was huge! Kudos to the instructor!

This course is a game changer. I like how this instructor explain to write a query and how to analyze data using SQL. She is a true teacher.

I am recently hired as Data Analyst where I will be using SQL for data cleaning . Even though I have completed my certification . I always come back and see these instruction videos to learn :)

Besides, she explained subqueries, temporary tables, and advanced SQL topics; the hands-on activities were valuable. I liked her style. It is nice and clear. Its was really an engaging course with lots of practice exercise and quizes that hon your skills soo fast. I will recommend this course for everyone who wants to a career in start data analytics. the resources provided are so helpful and detailed. The exposure to different types of data makes you understand how to work with various kinds of data.

The modules are well thought out. The instructors hold the attention of the student and since the lessons are only long enough for a busy person like myself, it is easier to remember and recall should there be a gap between the current lesson and the next. I truly appreciate learning at my own pace which Coursera has allowed me to do.

This is the core of the whole course , the engine of it , how to do the real skills of analysis , what is before and after is the presentation of the work here . difficult to me spent much time on this course repeating things to make sure I am doing well at it. Thank you google , you are always helpful and makes our lives better.

Generally, it was a great course but I have a few comments. Some weeks were so heavy covering so many topics to memorize which it can be due the nature of the course trying to cover many topics. The instructor was very good but again at some parts she was explaining the topics so fast that I had to stop the video and rethink about.

I finally got to know about what the analyzing step is and what we should do after a process step. Actually, here in a analyzing step, i recognized that skills of spreadsheet and SQL are essential throughout this step. Thank an instructor of this analyzing step making me open eye a new step i have never experienced.

Was a great course, was a little bit disappointed when they didn't teach me how to analyze things the way I thought they would, but it turns out I got all that I needed, plus analysis depends on the data, the business task and lots more; and this course captured the basic process of analyzing data to answer questions.

The experience has been very nice. I knew most of the things practically but didn't know the logic behind it. How its working and the mechanism. The instructor was super amazing and I really loved the way elaborated things. I believe with these tools I can enhance my skillset and provide better analytical solutions.

Though I found it useful to showcase SQL and Spreadsheets side by side, I am much more advanced in Excel/Spreadsheets and sometimes it was frustrating to go through the details that were already super familiar for me. But structure is great and I found useful the SQL details.
