I trully have enjoyed learning from this 5 courses. My comment applies not only to this course but for the whole "Python for Cybersecurity" specialization. The introduction to the MITRE framework is great and the selection of MITRE techniques to be studied in the exercices is great as well. Explanations about cybersecurity stuff are crystal clear. Courses always follow the same pattern : content flows from theory to an in-depth use-case ending logically with a Python example that is a very good illustration. Python code is clear and well explained. Python code addresses security concerns for Windows or for Linux, which allowed me to discover some Window OS internals. I strongly recommend this course to everyone interested in cybersecurity and preferabily has always practiced Python.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2024I have bought Howard's book. It helps me to grasp the details. This course is simple but quite challenging since it covers useful curated hands-on that simulating the techniques and procedures from attackers.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2025The author speaks rather slowly and monotonously, I had to increase the playback speed, but it was still incredibly boring and made me sleepy. There are few questions in the tests, but questions are often asked that were not answered in the lecture, and the answers may not be unambiguous. Very short, it is more like one module in a course, rather than a course within a specialization.
