It was a really interesting course as part of this Google certification. I was able to learn the basics of data analysis. We didn't start directly with the technique and I think it's good to know the why of everything we will do afterwards. I'm looking forward to continuing to go in depth to discover the wonderful world of data.

This is a great foundational course to learn the basics. I really liked that there are transcripts for every video and that different people who worked at Google appeared in videos to share their personal experience as it relates to data analytics. I would also recommend if you want to learn about what career paths are possible.

I started working on Google's "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" course and it is absolutely amazing. There are a lot of different modules that cover a variety of topics that really help you learn the basics. I really like how interactive the interface is and how it's much more effective than a typical lecture.

This course really provided a lot of information on the various terms related to data that we would come across as a data analyst. It really helped me in keeping my interest in the course and gave me a very good understanding of the term data and what and how the course is going to teach and how it will help me in my career path

Good foundational course and overview. Some of the topics covered such as using an excel file is at a beginner level. Good reinforcement and reiteration of the data analysis process. Enjoyed the videos of employees experience in their specific roles. It provided helpful insights to guide you to what area you may want to explore.

I loved this course, it taught me a lot of extremely valuable information on the basics of Data, especially how to think like a data analyst and that it isn't all just numbers! It made me love data analysis and confirm I'd like to take the next steps to complete the entire 8-part series in this course and become a data analyst!

This course set me up with a better understanding of the more in depth information I am about to learn. The information was presented in a style that makes self-guided learning easy. I really appreciated the slower deliberate pace that Tony used for introducing the material to those who are new to the field. The content, the exercises, the visualization, information on future possibilities in the industry, and the introduction to other course instructors all made it an exciting and non-intimidating course!

I give it 5 star because has Computer Science graduate I found it so goal oriented and insightful. Thank you google for making it so comfortable to learners in terms of bringing the understanding gap that exists in institutions due to approach used for 'our institutions'. They make things hard forgetting the goal of education!

This is course was really good. I believe the build-up to the other courses really makes it easier for me to understand everything about analysis, especially when I have no background about the topic at all. This is a really good way for me, and for others to start in this career--building a skill.

given questions and different templates is great. Seeing others answer in the discussion forum is also helpful.

This course really connects you with the Data Analysis world. It goes at a perfect pace and the quizzes and tests are really good to take and learn from. This first course will let you know if this job is for you. It will make you take a look at yourself and how you view the way you learn as well as the way you solve problems.

Great material with great explanations! It answered a lot of my questions and reassured me that it is ok not to have to know everything going into a job. I always feel like I should know more or that I have "imposter syndrome". I look forward to learning more from these courses and getting started on my new career adventure!

The course was such a smooth flowing experience. It didn't feel like it was like any other course, with huge amount of information stuffed without us able to retain most of it, but the course was designed in such a beautiful way that we were able to grasp and apply all the concepts discussed. So far, so good. I have completed some courses previosuly working with SQL but the first course in this program has helped to ground my understanding of data analysis, the data life cycle and the six key steps a data analyst follows. It has also helped me to think about where I use data in real life and day-to-day situations.

t was indeed a good foundation course and it made learning data analysis simple and easier.It would definitely help me to achieve my goals further if I complete the entire data analytics program from Coursera-Google.I have been astonished by how the data works and how useful it is in the current era where the data is the oil.

This course is just 1 of 8 total course. However, this is such an amazing course to start with. It really does prepare your foundation for whats to come. It's simple and easy to understand. I would highly recommend this course for individuals interested in data analysis. The curriculum is easy to understand and the instructors make it enjoyable to learn as they explain every step in a simple yet conclusive way. The exercise involved in the course are really good as you gain practical experience not just theory.
