I have gained knowledge on the basic foundations of data and the data world, my eyes and mind have opened into a new and much more exciting field of opportunities. For the foundations of the course, I thought this was a very thorough and well explained introduction to data analytics. I really liked this course as it has all the ingredients required for learning. it has good videos, subtitles, best instructors, links are provided for topics, practical involvement is required and the regular tests are keeping the learner active and involved in the course. It broke down what each prerequisite information and knowledge needed to understand the next proponent and teaches you in a manner that is simple and exquisite to understand and keep you engaged. Data analytics is new to me and this course helped me breeze through it with a 100% grade completion!

Awesome course I am so excited to keep learning. One thing I would love to see is maybe a overview notes sheet that you could maybe download covering the important or high notes if you will. It would make a nice addition to my notes and I wouldn't have to type as much while watching the viedos so I wouldn't miss anything.

This course really helps me to have an overal view of data analytics and which toolbox should I use to explore further. It's well structured, inspried, and suitable for entry level with basic knowledge and foundation. Also, this course provides many resource for your deeper self-learning about some tools for data analysis.

Excellent course to introduce data analysis. The data lifecycle and data analysis process was repeated multiple times throughout the course which makes sure you would remember it. IT IS A REALLY GOOD CURSE. IT taught me basics for data analysis and now im in 3rd course out of 8 courses and i find 1st course releavant in every 8 course and this course should not be skipped. if you skip this course it will be same as a good body structure of a building with a bad base which can be demolished easily.

I want to extend my congratulations to Coursera, the theme of the first course "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" was very well structured and complete as an introductory theme, the participation of the facilitators is developed in a very pleasant and friendly way and the help of instruction used are very illustrative.

This course is a great milestone to start ones journey into a world of Data Analytics. It really taught me many things that are really helpful for the upcoming skills that I need to learn and built a strong understanding base about what Data Analysis really is. A good start for anyone who want to get into analytics. It is a basic course and not specialization. After this you will get the gist of Data Analytics and after that other specialization courses will come in hand. If you already in this field than this is not for you but if you are new in this than this is a best start.

I've been looking at data analysis and how to make it fair. I've learned about techniques like oversampling and using all available data to include everyone. I also see the importance of managing resources and doing analysis from start to finish. Overall, I’m enjoying learning about making data analysis fair and useful.

I think that the Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere course was of great help to organize all those concepts and knowledge that encompass the role of data analyst. The knowledge of the tools, skills, way of thinking of a data analyst increased my love and interest in data due to the importance it has in today's society.

I am very impressed by the methods used to teach in this course. Thanks Tony, Rachel, Samah, Cassie and all guides as they made concepts so interesting and easy to understand. If you are new to data analysis and wanna learn from basics (right from scratch) then this course is best to start with. Definitely recommend. :)

Nobody has been able to teach me and ive always truggled to focus in college etc. Learning this way is a breath of fresh air no pressure just relaxed. I feel learning this way i can actually take the information in because of those factors. I am thrilled and cannot wait to start all of the other sections on this course.

I found this course a refresher and an eye opener all at the same time. I really enjoy that I can set my own pace, go back and review and re-watch all of the material at my leisure. It was a lot on information to digest, but very well presented without a lot of the technical speak to bog it down. A great first step.

This course is beautifully structured and the assignments really are relevant as well as brushing up all the concepts that are previously discussed. The very first course from a set of 8 courses has build an enormous confidence within me and I feel pumped to complete the entire course with same proclivity and gusto.

I really enjoyed this course. The instructor was brillant and explained everything in detail. The material was easily digestable and I had no problem following along. I am a beginner in the world of data analytics but this course has helped me understand what a data analyst can do and how to solve problems effectively.

I really love this first part of the course, the structure itself and the content. The way you have a mix of videos and readings keeps thinsg entertaining. I also really like that everything is straight to the point, there is no endless talking about meaningess things, every sentence matters and make sense. Great job!

Great pace, many examples where data analysis are used, refences and stories about data analysts and their experiences. Nice way to start the course for begginers, or people that just like me needed a calm refresher to some concepts seen a lifetime ago.
