Reviewed Sep 20, 2023Important topics were covered, but the material needs work. It feels like the instructional content has been revised, but the supplemental material was not touched. It also feels like many quiz questions and battery of answers were rushed and unreviewed for quality and consistency. Additionally, there are, as frequently in these courses, large gaps where you must dive deeper into third party references beyond what is suggested in the course reading material to have adequate perspective and understanding of some concepts.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2023Confusing and inconsistent. This is a great introduction to terms and concepts related to managing data in iOS. The quality, however, is low. The instructions are not aligned with the latest version of xCode and are often too vague to implement. Expect to heavily reference Developer Documentation and ChatGPT / BingChat to help piece it all together.

Reviewed Feb 16, 2024Course content is extremely messy in part of Core Data. There are lots of mistakes and inconsistencies in Reading exercises, that makes them difficult to follow. The final assignment doesn't give a smallest challenge and doesn't leave any place for a student to be creative.

Reviewed May 18, 2023I can't give more. Sorry. I understand the amount of work put into this but this topic is too crucial. I give just two stars for the networking path, in which, worth noting I had some background. However for the Data part its just bad. Bad quality. Bad explanation. Too much corporate jargon, too high expectations from a newbie in iOS.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2024I think it was one of the courses where I experienced the most disappointment. The contents are not updated, there are constant errors and inconsistencies. In the solution sections, the question and the solution are different. The teaching method is very flawed; I spent days trying to solve the errors in the initial project, only to find out later that those parts would be addressed in the future. It is definitely a result of lack of communication and ambiguity.
