Hard work but so I am happy and thank you for Coursera
ER
A good course. Minimal fluff, no explanation of programming fundamentals, and straight to the point. After all, people don't usually learn this language first.
CR
Contents are good. I faced some issues in Lab exercises like the code does not the same in the final app especially in expense_tracker_app.
SK
Can continue with different state management like bloc

It’s simply the best course to understand mobile app development, Flutter, and the Dart language.

Although the course content is good, the mode of delivery seems artificial and is very fast paced, making it difficult to follow up.

This is not Beginner Friendly Course, really disappointed. They teaching like I already know how to develop in flutter.
It's tough to keep up just watching 5 minutes videos. The methodology has not worked for me.
It really, really needs a good update. It seems like it's from ages ago. There are a lot of information errors, some key features are not explained properly and it takes for granted a lot of information about Dart. the online IDE is slow and the split windows just doesn't work - it adds unorganization to the whol course. Exam was a nightmare as it was bad formatted. I looked forward to finish this course as it really took my away will to learn Dart/Flutter. I'll try the Flutter professional course from flutter website and hope i get back some will to learn. I'm leaving this course with not the expected knowledge.
lots of fancy graphics presentation, almost none hands on teaching
The course correctly shows the basics and syntax of Dart, but I see a lot of points where it could be improved: - The import system and each function we can use from Flutter packages are not discussed thoroughly enough - The methods of common widgets should have been discussed in more detail - Labs were sometimes hard to follow, especially because the lack of discussing the file naming scheme, lack of description on what exactly to do and sometimes several steps were omitted that made understanding very difficult. - The voiceover on the videos sounded "shouting" which personally I found a little annoying. This course is not really aligned with my preferred learning style. I like step-by-step "learning by doing" instructions better. Hence, only 2 stars.
Horrible experience. This is only an AI voice talking continuously. Not even having a pause between paragraphs. Every module they put one video with 3 humans "speaking" from their experience but they are just reading a text, you can even see their eyes moving while they read line by line
It was the perfect introduction. Having labs gave me some insight as well. Most importantly, the final project... I loved it, have me researching how to fix/achieve something while building the app was a huge plus for me. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn Flutter.

It is not for a beginner, so dense
The Flutter course was extremely helpful and informative. It provided me with a strong understanding of mobile app development and gave me valuable hands-on experience. Throughout the course, I learned how to build real-world applications using Flutter, work with widgets, manage state, and integrate local storage. The practice projects and final project allowed me to apply everything I learned and build complete functioning apps. Overall, this course has boosted my confidence in mobile development and improved my technical skills. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn, and I believe the knowledge I gained will be very useful for my future projects and career.
