This is a great course from Snowflake for the GenAI starters, easy to follow instructions and very good overview on working with LLM functions, fine tuning and creating an app. Although an overview of typical GenAI app architecture would have helped but I guess they want the students to learn it by doing. Introducing some illustrations while giving explanations will enrich the content and will make a little easy for the people who are new to GenAI. But I will not take it away in the review rating because the course has been very well structured and clear instructions for hands on tasks made it engaging. Thank you team, I look forward for more courses from NorthStar on this platform.

Very easy to follow. Great addition of the hands-on exercises backed by the repo on GitHub. The presenter communicated well the ideas. I would only suggest to add some kind of charts or whiteboarding to explain some of the ideas that comprise different parts of the platform and back and forth like the fine tuning part where storage, notebook and code, models etc are involved.

I like the course and it's very valuable as well as hands on with perfect explanation and examples. The only change that I would suggest is to make the Snowsight screen videos more brighter and clear. its really not very soothing the eyes right now and it's also blurry

If you are already working on Snowflake and want a kickoff on a Generative AI journey based on Snowflake, this course is a great start.

Overall the course is great. The concepts of Snowflake Cortex were explained very easily. The snowflake UI is extremly changed and the code shared is not working as Snowflake is upgraded, Using AI mode the code get fixed but it will be different.

it does not work, obviously an old version. do not even attempt. it is a waste of time.

This is a quick and easy course that's perfect for anyone looking to get started with Generative AI and Cortex in Snowflake. It's a great choice if you're looking to quickly build foundational knowledge. However, one thing to note is that some of the code provided in the course is slightly outdated. A few cortex functions and classes trigger warnings about upcoming deprecations. Updating the git code to align with the latest version would provide a better learning experience.

The course is short but provides a great introduction to Generative AI in Snowflake. The instructor did an excellent job explaining the topics. One important thing to note is that I was unable to practice fine-tuning using a free trial account.

Timings mentioned in few sections are not correct. Please check them. Also we should clearly call out the pre-requisite for the course that users should have an idea about Python, GenAI, LLMs(even if they have not used it but they should at least know it) else it would be difficult to understand the code written in notebooks(especially in Module 3)
