This course build my knowledge in identifying element of writing process and to understand the prewriting strategies and drafting process.

Students want to be successful when they embark on a learning journey. That success is dependent on a constellation of factors: 1) they need to be able to process the material that is presented in the learning experience; 2) they need the learning experience itself to be a manageable one, without overwhelming stressors that impact their mental and physical well-being; and 3) they need to be able to communicate what they are learning, especially through written channels. These courses delve into the cognitive psychological principles that successful students can use to master course material, the physiological and psychological effects of stress and techniques to overcome them, and the necessary writing skills for effective written communications. Taken together, these courses provide the foundation students need to be successful in whatever learning environments they find themselves in.

Let me be honest, this course taught "How to learn better" more effectively. This course in itself is structured on the basis of those psychological proven principles. The videos were good, short and didn't feel like a boring lecture. There were many readings, but they were not tedious to read, but quite good. Also, at the end of every module, there were "key takeaways", which helped us summarize as well as revise. The "Check Your Understanding" practice quizzes as well the graded quizzes were quite effective in metacognitive monitoring. The cumulative quiz at the end made me revise all the concepts of the course once again, instead of forgetting soon after completing corresponding module's module quiz. Also, before cumulative quiz, there existed a "Course Summary" module which dived into all the things taught in the course and made me practise through "Knowledge Check" quiz, which contained questions which applied the "better learning". They didn't simply state tips/tricks for learning, but they explained it all with the proof by giving basic information of those research-- with conditions, observations, conclusions, along with the graph. If any of you are interested in learning how to learn, by a trusted source, along with good glimpses of those research, in short, of course, then this is the right course for you. Thank you APA, thank you Coursera!
