This is the worst lecture ever. First of all, the voice is generated from a computer. There is no data downloadable to follow. It is just videos after videos.

I gave it a chance... a lot of chances really, after about 38% of progress I decided to unenroll. The AI (or computer) voice is horrible, the quality of the presentation itself as well. There are no materials to work with, or, to be fair, there are but they do not use them, so you cannot really follow what they're doing. I do not believe anyone needs an explanation that button "delete" deletes something. Some of the individual chapters do not make sense in the order they're made. The questions throughout the videos are basically word-by-word the same as what they say, sometimes about 5s before they say it so you cannot really answer them based on "newly gained knowledge". Do not recommend, at all.

It takes dedication to learn a new skill. THANK YOU for allowing to have this platform without having to pay and making a difference in our lives.

I've completed one-third of the course, but I find the course structure confusing. For instance, the lesson on "How to create relationships" comes after "How to edit or remove relationships," which seems out of order. I was expecting a step-by-step guide since they provided an Excel material at the start of the course, but instead, the lessons present random charts or data sets without clear connections. The instruction voice is robotic so you will feel sleepy after a few videos. Not recommend for beginners who don't have any knowledge of BI.

I'm sorry. This is terrible. It gives you a data set to work with and then doesn't show you how to work with the same data set. Impossible to follow along to know if you're doing it right. Super frustrating. Glad I never spent the $.

It was a nice introduction to Power BI but nothing more than that. There were some glaring issues with the training. A good example would be when reviewing the relationships between data. A drop down list was being discussed. The presenter proceeded to list verbatim what was written on the drop down however gave no context or explanation as to what they meant, nor their typical uses. Then stated "choose the appropriate relationship". Well if you know nothing about them that's not helpful. There were several steps where this lack of clarity limited how much progress I was able to make in sections. Also the data that was available as a download was different than the data being used in the presentation which is usually a bad idea in a data program training. Finally my version of PowerBi for whatever reason was set up differently making it more challenging to follow. Overall I was not impressed and had hoped for more. This was my first experience and I plan to take another Coursera training soon with the hope that this course does not represent Coursera. However if the next course is taught in a similar way I would not continue using this service.

There should be about DAX Functions. One thing I missed is the use of Quick and New measures. There should be a few examples related to this.

Useless. What a waste of time. No effort was put into creating the course. Somebody is just trying to make some extra money as a side hustle.

It could be better if the videos were based on the same file provided in the course or in the PowerBI tutorial, so as to follow step by step with the same data and see if we are proceeding in the right direction. Plus, instead of these exercises, it would be better to have some more specific (even if simple) requests, that can maybe be later checked with another video on the same file to verify that everything has been done correctly

This is a very mediocre course, at best. Not a lot of useful content or teaching, and the tests consist mostly of exact rote memorization of strangely worded and sometimes meaningless phrases.

I didn't find this course helpful at all. The course provided an excel spreadsheet as an example but used a totally different one. From there I couldn't follow the content. I went over it and over it again and still couldn't follow it. When I started the course i had no knowledge of how to use powerbi, unfortunately my knowledge is less than nothing. The only positives are I can now place it in my resume and the course fee is tax deductible

Useless. The presentation/videos are very low quality and the computer-generated doesn't keep you engaged. The data file provided as practice is of no use since they are not used in the videos. The explanations are just useless, they pay more attention to explain obvious stuff than to really explain how to use the program (e.g., to close the window, click on the X; really?).

Terrible videos with poor explanation. There are no proper checks to see if you actually understood the content -- just videos after videos. The sections where you can add a screenshot of your submission do not even work. Did not learn anything. I would give it 0 stars out of 5 if I could.

Could serve as a brief introduction to Power BI but nothing more. The course has many problems: very low quality teaching, poorly AI generated voice, very short useless videos (some were less than 1 minute with 15 seconds of AI voice reading the title), final test is a joke.

The course is useless. The voice is super-strange, it is not even possible to follow that voice. Strongly NOT recommended.

it should be a guided project so we can apply what we learn. watching videos like this isn't beneficial for us.
