Very good beginner class but does need a bit of updating to align better with the UI.

According to a recent Coursera study(*), there are 7 most in-demand skills in the data world. Among these skills is data management, which refers to the practice of effectively collecting, organizing, storing, and analyzing data. While some organizations will have dedicated data management roles, data analysts often manage data to some degree. In recent years, Snowflake has become one of the best cloud data platforms adopted by several global companies such as Adobe, AT&T, BlackRock, Capital-One... This entry-level guided project is designed for business analysts analyzing their company's data in Snowflake. You will play the role of an analyst working in the strategy department of a fictional burger chain in NY. Your task is to create a dashboard to analyze your company's market share and benchmark it against major competitors. At the end of the project, you will be able to: 1-Create your trial account, navigate Snowflake UI and get data from Snowflake Marketplace. 2-Create virtual warehouses, databases and tables to load data into Snowflake. 3-Write your first query using Snowflake SQL worksheets and turn it into snowsight dashboard. To successfully complete this project, you need basic SQL skills (writing Select statements) and an understanding of basic database concepts (tables, schemas..) This course was truly exceptional, and I gained valuable insights into SQL. I highly recommend it to individuals in data management roles. The pacing was perfect, although it's important to be mindful of your Snowflake access. This challenge will motivate you to invest the necessary time to comprehend Snowflake thoroughly and apply it effectively in real-world scenarios.
Amazing course, TY

Very good beginner class but does need a bit of updating to align better with the UI.
project didnt work, i sent an email but no response.
A well‑structured and beginner‑friendly project that clearly explains Snowflake fundamentals and Snowsight dashboards through hands‑on practice. The real‑world scenario made learning engaging, and I finished the project feeling confident creating my first dashboard.

Very short and to the point. One does NOT learn the ins-and-outs of all of Snowflake, but it is a great hands-on course to learn the UI, how to navigate, and how to gain confidence working with Snowflake. Good for: - people with at least basic experience in Data Analytics or Data Engineering - people who are eager to learn new tools - people who enjoy learning through doing Not good for: - people with zero experience (e.g. fresh grads) - people who need to know "why" they do things (zero explanations) - people who prefer to get academic, high-level info before performing actions

Good for a start up
Older GUI and too much focus on the trivial while speeding over the complex info
The UI is different in the course vs the new free Trial download
This will just describe you what you can learn by yourself within first day if you start working with Snowflake. This course is useful only for somebody who has no experience with SQL and databases at all.
