A great primer for beginners, even those from other branches of science, the course went into detail where required, keeping things mostly concise and providing several resources for all topics. Personally, this course was a better fit than others that tended to be too exhaustively detailed and theory-focused; instead, this was an application-oriented course.

EXCELENTE

Invaluable information and assessments were challenging enough. However, the AI-delivered lecture didn't feel engaging enough to retain information, and I had to review the slides multiple times. That being said, the slides were very comprehensive, it would have been nice if we could download them for future reference.

For people who have a background in the field, it seems a bit superficial, especially if you have already studied genetic engineering or similar topics in college, for example.

There is very useful information in this module, however, it was not a particularly engaging format. I expected videos, but I learned a lot as it was.

Claims to be general omics course, yet lacks any mention of metabolomics and proteomics. Course feels somewhat unpolished, with biggest 'infodump' as a book chapter at the very end of the course. Final test contains at least 1 error, where correct answer is marked as wrong (even though feedback says it is a correct answer). On the positive side, course is very approachable and easy to understand.

the course materials can be somewhat useful if you are a total beginner to this field, but there is no hands-on practice and they are so poorly organised (repetitive contents, AI-generated course materials to name a few).
