Knowledge of soft skills or people Skills are increasingly coming into focus and being recognized as critical for success - hence at IBM we call them "Success Skills", and categorize them as "Hot Skills". A research by Harvard University, Carnegie Foundation and Stanford Research Center has concluded that 85% of job success comes from having well developed soft skills and people skills, and only 15% of job success comes from Technical skills and knowledge (hard skills). This specialization is aimed at helping you develop these powerful people and soft skills and behaviors that include: creating & delivering impactful presentations; working professionally to deliver quality work & experiences; collaborating effectively with teams; communicating productively and efficiently; dealing with challenges, solving problems & implementing solutions. The program is made up of 5 short courses that you can take in any order, followed by a final assessment course. Upon completing this specialization, you will have developed knowledge and demonstrated an understanding of these essential skills. This specialization can be taken by anyone no matter your age or work experience. And is especially beneficial for those entering the workforce or in early stages of their careers. There are no course pre-requisites and this course can be completed either using the Coursera mobile app or a web browser on a laptop/desktop/tablet/mobile device.

It kept referring to these 'collaborative barriers' but never went into details on each one. What each one was or examples of each. It made it really difficult to follow along and to pass the quiz
The course is okay, but it doesn't talk much about communication barriers; it mostly talks about how to avoid communication barriers. Whereas, the quiz is entirely based on communication barriers. So, the test becomes very difficult, too specific in my opinion.
Awful "feedback" (incorrect/correct, no explanation provided), dull courses. Vague real-world scenarios that are not readily applicable.
Course introduced concepts such as collaboration barriers but not examples or explanations of each barrier. The quiz assessment tests on these barriers based on explanations not provided in the course.
Sorry for low rating, but even the content is valid the form of course is wrong, missing good examples, or even explanation, Content is not comprehensive and coherent. This discourage me to take other courses in this skill set.
It needs some more in depth materials
Very disappointed that the assessments were focused around something barely touched on in the course itself.
Awesome way to learn about team and peer handling to have a successful outcome and make things happier at work as well as personal life. Thank you
Most of the tests are about collaboration barriers, but the course never explained what they are.
Very basic and it's a robotic voice doing the talking. I was expecting better from IBM
This course has excellently highlighted the importance of collaboration. The way everything was explained made it very easy for me to digest.
This course has been extremely beneficial and has provided me with a wealth of information about collaborative work.
The course offers interesting material on effective collaboration and especially on good collaborative practices.
It does not give sufficient information and examples of not accepted behaviours although the final assessment focuses on these ones and does not cover other topics mentioned in the course like virtual collaboration.
No me gusto mucho porque la traducción en algunos temas no estaba, se nota el poco esfuerzo, ya que no tenía un instructor que me explique mejor el tema. ¡Falto calidad!
Seems like a course made by robots for robots. Most of the topics discussed are just common sense. Uninteresting in my opinion.
This course covers collaboration at a very shallow level and doesn't contain detailed case studies or suggestions.
It focuses on barriers to collaboration instead of how to collaborate successfully. Which is, I suppose, a way of instruction on collaboration . However it never goes into depth on the barriers in the material and then askes in depth questions on the quizzes. It feels like entire sections are missing.
Every quiz/test was entirely about Collaborative barriers. Six bulleted barriers were shown in one lesson. They were never defined or discussed, yet every assessment was based 100% on this information. I feel like an entire segment of this curriculum was missing.
Did not learn anything new. All of the questions were based on a single point (collaborative barriers) that was not even explained during the course. The videos were full of fluff and quotations that did not add anything of value.
This course doesn't teach you anything. I'm not sure how you can even call it a course... and I'm pretty sure this is just AI slop with topics like "fourth topic" or "reading: let's hear a story"
