I loved this course. I am going to take the next one that is recommended. However, I do not enjoy the cookies on the links of some of the readings.

This specialization will help you understand how prototyping can be accelerated by the use of 3D printing. It first provides insights into the core processes in engineering and product design & development to bring out the importance of prototyping. It then guides learners through different types and characteristics of prototypes, and the different ways of producing prototypes. Learners are then introduced to a wide array of 3D printing technologies and their capabilities to develop a skill in choosing optimal 3D printing tools for a given type of prototype. Learners who complete this specialization will obtain a rich understanding of the key roles of prototyping in engineering and product development processes, and how to use various types of 3D printing technologies for the right applications in prototyping. While it covers the basic idea of things it needs to be more exhaustive and engaging. Also, it seems like the quiz are just placeholders and don't really have any importance
The Engineering and Product Design Processes course provided an in-depth and valuable training. The information was well-organized and covered important subjects including ideation, prototyping, and production. The hands-on assignments improved both my understanding and problem-solving skills. Overall, it was a course that aspiring engineers and product designers definitely recommend.
I'm from Sri Lanka and I want to express my appreciation for the high-quality content and structured learning approach. The course provided valuable insights into product development, design thinking, and engineering principles, making it a great learning experience. Suggestions : -It would be great to have more hands-on projects or real-world product development case studies. -A discussion forum where students can share ideas and collaborate would enhance engagement. -More industry examples showing how companies apply these design principles would be beneficial. The course is very brief

Its a good initial review of the subject
All the reading was in Chinese, i'm using windows and couldn't use any of my apps for the reading files. i was able to get it to work with Notepad, but it was in another language. So i'm unenrolling and i didn't learn much.
