This course introduces you to how to use spreadsheets and SQL queries to analyze and extract data. You will learn how to practically apply the OSEMN data analysis framework and spreadsheet functions to clean data, calculate summary statistics, evaluate correlations, and more. You’ll also dive into common data visualization techniques and learn how to use dashboards to tell a story with your data. By the end of this course you will be able to: • Clean data with spreadsheets • Use common spreadsheet formulas to calculate summary statistics • Identify data trends and patterns • Write foundational SQL statements and queries to extract data in spreadsheets • Create charts in Google Sheets and use Tableau to visualize data • Use dashboards to create data visualizations You don't need marketing or data analysis experience, but should have basic internet navigation skills and be eager to participate. Ideally you have already completed course 1: Marketing Analytics Foundation and course 2: Introduction to Data Analytics in this program.

Its ok, very difficult at times to figure out which data set there are wanting you to work with, very basic explanations, and no way to ask questions when you get confused. They give examples, but the screen share is so small you can see what's going on half the time, and if I make it full screen the video tends to skip or glitch half the time.

Making Peer Assignment Obligatory
Lots of missing info had to take additional courses to fill in the gaps. Course took longer to complete for this reason. Not the best instruction for beginners who are not able to take additional courses to fill in the gaps.
This course had major flaws. Firstly, the course used useless programs like Google Sheets and Google API Query Language instead of programs that most people and businesses use such as MS Excel and mySQL. Why don't you teach actual SQL instead of crappy versions of it like Google API Query Language? Secondly, the course used Tableau instead of Power BI. Power BI is much better as it has better integration with Microsoft apps which many businesses use. Thirdly, the last two videos in the 5th course (Dashboards in Tableau) were poorly made. It was literally a slide show where the instructor rushed through the steps. There was no continuity and it was hard to follow as I did not know where the cursor was when he was selecting the elements of the dashboard.
