really a course which means to be a course outstanding.

This course is designed for entry-level construction professionals, project engineers, estimators, and those looking to enter the construction industry with a solid foundation in reading construction documents. It is also appropriate for designers, architects, and project managers seeking to better understand how drawings and specifications communicate project requirements. You will learn how to interpret construction drawings and specifications used in real-world building projects. The course covers the components of a complete set of plans, including architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, and teaches you how to analyze title blocks, scales, and symbols. You will also explore the purpose and structure of project specifications and learn how they interact with the drawings to define materials, methods, and compliance standards. By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped to navigate a full set of construction documents confidently and communicate your findings clearly—skills essential for effective estimating, bidding, and project execution.

hrough this course, I learned how to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications as a coordinated system rather than as separate documents. Starting with a simple napkin sketch and developing it into finish documentation helped me understand how design intent is communicated clearly to contractors and trades. I gained a better understanding of how drawings, keynotes, and specifications work together, particularly in relation to Division 09 finishes. This course improved my confidence in reading plans and recognizing how details, schedules, and specifications impact real-world construction and coordination.

The ai system that grades you leaves a lot to be desired and th editing of the speaker is not very smooth. The class is best taken at 1.25 speed in my opinion. I am new to construction and this was a generally helpful class for me to take. Especially learning the specs role in the process. Would recommend, wish was better at the same time.
Horrible, this guy is so blah and boring and either keeps pausing for a long time or it's bad editing, but it's like listening to a space alien trying to mimic the English language. I'm going to look for a different certification. I already understand blueprints so I just wanted a certificate, but this torture isn't worth it.
THE AI HAS LACK OF CAPACITY TO IDENTIFY MORE DISCIPLINES.
