The final project, in particular, was an absolute letdown. It's hard to believe that a project supposedly designed to encapsulate the key learnings of the course could be so poorly executed. The project's lack of relevance was astonishing. It felt as though it had been pieced together without any thought to its alignment with the course material. The assignment seemed more like a random assortment of tasks rather than a meaningful culmination of the knowledge we had acquired over the weeks. A final project should be a well-planned culmination of our learning journey.

I cannot recommend this course to anyone seeking a meaningful and comprehensive introduction to project management. It was a wasted opportunity and an unfortunate misrepresentation of what an educational course should be.

Lo mejor: Te da el “mapa” completo: qué es un proyecto vs programa vs portafolio, roles y responsabilidades. Refuerza lo más útil en la vida real: comunicación con interesados, seguimiento, reuniones y reportes. Te presenta metodologías actuales (Agile/Lean/Six Sigma) sin abrumarte. Lo que se queda corto: Es más panorámico que práctico: no profundiza tanto en herramientas reales (plantillas, cronogramas, riesgos con ejemplos completos). Algunos temas (salarios/roles) se sienten “genéricos” porque cambian por país/industria. Mi veredicto: sí vale la pena. Si lo complementas con práctica (aunque sea con proyectos chiquitos: escuela, casa, organización de entregables), ya estás construyendo perfil.
