This course is excellent, comprehensive, and engaging. It helped me understand many aspects related to databases using MySQL. The explanations are also easy to understand. However, there are several shortcomings that need to be addressed: 1. The Meta team should review the lab assignments and practice questions. There are many typographical errors in the questions and/or statements, which can be challenging for beginners. 2. The subtitles in some videos are not synchronized with the audio. 3. THERE ARE NO META REPRESENTATIVES MENTORING STUDENTS IN THE DISCUSSION FORUM (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT).

This is a wonderful course, made with soul. This is a wonderful story in simple words, step by step, about complex topics. Huge thanks to the amazing creators and Meta Corporation. I am a refugee from Ukraine studying to find a job and this course has been a huge support for me and my family during a difficult time after russia's dastardly attack on Ukraine.

Same as the first course, no one corrects the errors in the quizs and some issues in this course. Overall, I think it is a 4 star course if the issues be solved.

This course is perfectly structured, planned & organized with the perfect mixture of both reading materials and video content that's what make this course undefeatable among all the other quality courses. Most importantly it's many times better than the courses offered by IBM. Special thanks to all the teachers and organizer.

I think it was a good course. If anyone is looking for a SQL course that coves subqueries try this one. It's not a bad thing, but I did have to reference outside sources to find more info & additional examples to expand my understanding. I gave it 5 stars based on other SQL courses that I've taken, which includes for-credit college courses as well as others on Coursera. If you go do the queries (SQL statements) without shortcutting on the learning, you'll find this to be an excellent course.

One of the best courses I have ever learned on Coursera. Really, it is a well-prepared course and the instructor has the ability to explain concepts in simple words briefly and confidently. The unique feature of this course I am very interested in is the summary after each video and also the external links introduced at the end of each week. I highly recommend studying this course and other courses in this specialization.

I highly recommend this course. In terms of user experience (UX), this course exceeds all expectations. It's well structured, and presented with plenty of lab activities. You will learn from some basic concepts to a more complex queries including filters, grouping, etc. In the end, you will appreciate the importance of data management systems.

WOW! This is what I expect from this course on MySQL. A comprehensive guide to using SQL commands to work on and query databases. What I like is that we can practice and apply what we have learned in every topics in every module. The lab is very useful. I highly recommend this course. Nicely done, Meta!

The course was very informative, I also enjoyed the instructors delivery on the topics. I would of liked more questions, as application is the best way to learn.

The only major issue was on coursera's side, as some problems with the Scrolling made it difficult to read the text based lessons.

i learn almost everything they teach i love the style of teaching the examples of real world and believe this course master you mysql and i apply it directly in our project of web quiz app in which i make 16 tables and make cascade delete etc thanks to meta and my instructor .

Highly informative on the foundational topics of MySQL for database design including view creation, procedures, and subqueries. I really like how the assignments are set up to give you hands on experience with writing the various queries.

The course was very helpful, but I just ran into some issues with the coursera lab where the terminal text was just very blurry. I was still able to follow along with the work just by using the offical MySQL desktop workbench.

Introductory lessons on MySQL. What's good is the way the course is structured. You get to know what are the important techniques that comes with MySQL (or any SQL suppose) and practice those in the lab environments

It is very exciting with all formats while learning like,questionaries popping in between the video to keep the learner focus. quizes to recollect what we had leart. This is good platform for beginners.
