This course was thorough in teaching the basic interpretation of normal radiology images, I have learnt a lot and excited to apply these skills in my field.
This course teaches learners the underlying principles behind conventional radiography, computerized axial tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound. The radiology of chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, spine and brain are taught in this course using a combination of lectures and extensive practical activities and assessments.
By the end of the course you will be able to: Describe the principles of conventional radiography, CT MRI and ultrasound Describe systematic approaches to imaging interpretation Describe the use of windowing in CT Describe sequences in MRI and their relevance. This course is part 4/4 in the Yale Human Anatomy Specialization. Topics covered in the lectures include: Introductions to conventional radiography, computerized tomography (CT), ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), chest radiology, CT of chest, chest radiology: introduction to pathology, normal CT anatomy of the abdomen, renal anatomy, colon cancer, renal neoplasm, normal pelvic imaging, normal male pelvis imaging, normal female pelvis imaging, radiology of the upper extremities, radiology of the lower extremities, musculoskeletal imaging modalities, introduction to spine radiographs, skull radiography, brain CT imaging fundamentals, brain CT imaging pathology, brain: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and brain MRI pathology

Great course. One should have a good underlying knowledge of anatomy to then see how these structues are visualized with various modes of imaging. I learned a lot.
This is an excellent course for medical professionals who want to brush up on their knowledge. It was definitely challenging. I did have to go to other sources for additional information to solidify my understanding of the concepts. MRI sequencing was the toughest for me. I would highly recommend this course for practicing physicians like myself.
Thank you team!
This is arguably the BEST online Diagnostic Imaging Course available today, and it is FREE! I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunity to enhance my general medical knowledge and practical clinical diagnostic skills.

Thank you Coursera and Yale University for granting me the opportunity to have access and be much more knowledgeable through this Course.
I started this course because it said it was free. But halfway through, they suddenly ask for money to get a certificate. That’s not honest. If the course isn’t really free, say it upfront. Don’t waste people’s time and then ask for payment. Very disappointing.
Good material, sometime image is 2D cant descript best
Dear Dr. Charles Duncan and Dr. William B. Stewart, Thank you so much. You have a great sense of mind which makes studies so fun and easier. I had a great learning experience under your shelter where you taught with great passion and skill. You have abundant knowledge which made us learn everything in the easiest form.
This was an amazing course. I enjoyed it so much. It is so handy and amazing to learn things so easily. I'm so grateful to learn from this platform.
course was very intresting, i really enjoyed it, thank you very much yale, instructors and coursera.
excellent course really enjoyable
The course was very good at illustrating how to read the images but it was not clear in explaining the various bones and processes. Also some of the audio was difficult to hear (very low volumn) and two of the plugins did not work at all (I was not able to access any of the slides). I did ask for help but did not receive it.
Still I enjoyed and learned a lot from the course.
Learning through this platform still is convenient,It is easy to understand,to gain the concept.
I am too happy to finish the course earlier than expected.
I would like to extend my gratitude towards the team for their good course set up.
Thanks.
Thank you Yale University for this opportunity to join this course. Systematically structured lecture videos and notes, ungraded and graded assignments for each module helped me not helped me greatly to improve my knowledge in diagnostic imaging. I am confident that the knowledge I obtained will benefit me greatly when I practice as a doctor in the future. Truly Grateful to all of you.
This was interesting course! I see those imaging everyday at work (clinical coding specialist) and this course definitely gave me the better insight of images and anatomical knowledge as well. I enjoyed a lot. I appreciate creating and providing this course. The course test was really fun and challenging, can't NOT forget what you just learned.
This is an excellent course from which I have benefited greatly in my field of work. It explains the anatomy of the body and then translates it into different types of imaging, followed by a discussion of the diseases related to each organ. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
I am amazed after having international levels of study with Yale University and its team, Thank you all instructors. Lectures cover all the basics of radiology study. Thank you, Coursera and HEC Pakistan for providing this opportunity to learn from this platform.
