Useful introductory course that teaches basic masking and use of two Figma plugins. Slightly outdated because many details of Figma's layout have changed since the course was created, so you see the instructor doing someone in the old layout and have to figure out how to do the same thing in the new layout. Plugin details have also been updated. I did not have to get an API to run the second plug in, for example, and its name has been updated. The cloud environment that runs Chrome in the left side of the course window while showing the instructor's work on the right side was a bit of a nightmare. Very slow, and I was not able to install either required plug in there. I had to start Figma in a separate window and do most of the work away from the Coursera space. If you run into the same problem, make sure you log into Figma in the Coursera training window FIRST, then log into Figma again in a separate browser window to install and use the plug ins. You can 'collaborate' with yourself on the same Figma doc in the other browser window and work done there will show up in the Coursera space, allowing you to complete the projects. (You must have a Figma account to do this, but the basic free version is enough.) Other than these required workarounds, the course was useful for learning basic tools and skills in Figma.
