The instructors took a really long time to say what could have been summed up in about one or two sentences, and that is "You can use Chat GPT and Ai to help you get ideas for designing courses and outlining them for you". All of the other stuff what pretty much fluff and irrelevant, no hands on work to incorporate what you learned. Dont feel like I got out of it what I intended except for a certificate.

I sincerely thank the instructors and organizers for this course. It has been an enriching experience, providing valuable insights into learning design and the effective use of Generative AI. I appreciate the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills, and I look forward to applying what I have learned in practical settings.

I frankly don't remember a single thing from this course despite taking copious notes. I use GenAI in my work as an instructional designer. But I havenn't applied a single concept from this course. This is a a common problem I have faced with Coursera content. It's very thin, too stretched out, the exercises have little relevance to real life, cognitive scaffolding is very poor, and retention extremely low. This is not a problem I have faced with other courses. I still remember and apply what I studied for my PMI certifications 2 years ago. It's barely been 6 months since I did this and I have zero recall.
