The Introduction to .NET Core course is designed to equip learners with the necessary skills to build web applications using the powerful .NET Core framework. The course is organized into three distinct modules. The first module lays the foundation of .NET Core, discussing its history, features, differences from other technologies, and how to set up the development environment. Lessons include an introduction to .NET Core, its architecture, and how to utilize .NET CLI for development. The second module offers a deep dive into ASP.NET Core, focusing on developing and configuring web applications. Learners will master the MVC pattern, routing, action methods, and views, along with detailed insights into configuring and deploying applications in various hosting environments. The third module takes the understanding further, delving into advanced concepts, including dependency injections, middlewares, and crucial aspects related to configuration, debugging, and testing. It provides hands-on experience in building a .NET Core application from scratch. By the end of this course, you will have a foundational to advanced understanding of .NET Core, capable of creating dynamic, responsive web applications that run on any platform. The course’s comprehensive coverage ensures that learners are proficient in both theoretical concepts and practical application, making them ready for real-world development. The lessons is more short time, please increase the lesson time , that waste a time to move from one to another

This course is bizarre and should not be on Coursera. The instructor tells you what she will show you and then never delivers. The whole course looks like it is unfinished. And at the end you have a test which completely unconnected with the material.
Awfull material: too superficial, and most of the material is taken from free courses on the Microsoft website. In the last Grade Quiz, 6 out of 20 questions have incorrect wording or answers.
It covered .NET Core and it did cover many essentials. There are lots of links to the samples in Learn.Microsoft.com's .NET library. Here's where I found aggravation: All the samples and examples given, except one, were only in the .NET ASP Core domains of information. Also, the links to the Microsoft librarys were behind by one version of .NET, and the Microsoft info pages would say to, with a link to the 'most recent' version. The speaker's mic sound quality of the could be improved - often it would vary greatly in volume. A more appropriate name for the course would be: Get Up To Speed with .NET ASP Core 8 for ASP Developers (Nov 2023).
Not up to the standards of Coursera, very minimal information confusing , with lot of errors and issues.
Completely useless.
Tenho feito a revisão dos conceitos basicos do desenvolvimento web com a plataforma asp.net core e sinto que afinal ainda precisava aprender algumas coisas, está a ser uma experiencia muito boa

very amazing and helpful course for those who want to learn more about .net core
interesting, and the narration is very concise and informative.
It is an amazing way in teaching this course
Good For beginners
very Effective
Usually has some steady pacing but I feel like the course could use a slower exposition on routing and session management, with more examples, and less exposition on the MVC architecture. Also for the AI dialogues while I don't completely object to them I feel like it is a missed opportunity for course discussion with other students, where we could have contributed our own individual observations.
