Great course, detailed steps by step walkthrough that really simplifies understanding

Learn how to use data engineering to leverage big data for business strategy, data analysis, or machine learning and AI. By completing this course series, you'll empower yourself with the knowledge and proficiency required to build efficient data pipelines, manage cutting-edge platforms like Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake, Databricks, and Kubernetes, and tell stories with data through visualization. You will delve into foundational big data concepts, distributed computing with Spark, Snowflake’s architecture, Databricks’ machine learning capabilities, Python techniques for data visualization, and critical methodologies like DataOps. This course series is designed for software engineers, developers, researchers, and data scientists who want to strengthen their specialization in data science or machine learning, as well as for professionals who are interested in pursuing a career as a data-focused software engineer, data scientist, or a data engineer working in cloud, machine learning, business intelligence, or other field.

It was great but the last module of week 4 felt isolated from the rest of the course.

Great course, learnt a lot of practical skills through real-life examples

A course that cover all aspects basic of data engineer, i love it

For the first time I really understood what "virtualization" is and how things sort of expand for larger and larger units. Really solid stuff on CI/CD stuff also.

A little bit too much product placement. I liked the theoretical parts although VERY MUCH!
A nice introduction to big data platforms and their capabilities. Particularly interesting and useful were MLflow in Databricks and Github Codespaces. This course works best as an overview of the big data platforms and related organisational principles (DevOps, DataOps, MLOps), although there are some demonstrations of coding and the provided programming exercises were helpful, if a bit elementary. The videos in Week 4 were super interesting but too long, so some of them could benefit from being edited down to the essentials. Also the quizzes are quite easy so it would be nice to have some assessed programming content.
Very basic without real applications that would prepare you for a job.
The problem with this course is its lack of balance. The first 3 modules are pretty straightforward, with videos' time lapse ranging from 3 to 10 minutes. Then something weird happens with the last module (which is a course in itself!) and we have lessons ranging from 48 minutes up to 2 hours (this last one is optional, I admit it). And some of the presentations are blatantly lame; for example, the instructor trying to find out why some code is not working as it should (!?) All being said, there isn't enough practice nor labs in this course to efectively learn hands-on the very subjects stated in the title ---I could be wrong, but I don't think this should be anyone's top choice to learn these things.
The content is not detailed enough to introduce properly the subjects, The labs are not well commented.
not so many exercises. too easy questions
Just one big advertisement for Databricks and Azure
Certificate is not clear
Low video quality and not challenging enough.

A very interactive hands-on course.
Many importants subjects
it was amazing !!!!

Simply Great!

Thanks
The course is excellent, well structured, clear, and engaging. The final week is quite technical but also very interesting. I would just note that the first three weeks took me significantly less time than suggested in the course preview. This is mainly because the practice assignments are very short (only one or two questions each) yet have an estimated completion time of around 30 minutes. In addition, some of the questions refer to concepts that are only explained in later lessons. Aside from these minor points, the course is truly outstanding and would be perfect with a small adjustment to the practice exercises.
Finished the course with a slight disappointment. At times poor video quality and dull explanations.
