A very good and structured overview of Kubernetes and Openshift. One of the few hi-quality trainings as alternative to expensive ones hosted directly by Red Hat. The Developer sandbox makes also the difference: you can do the exercises and more in this free environment of Red Hat. The trainer puts effort in making things clear and understandable for people with little experience with a shell. Last but not least, one gets a document per course. Those you can use for further reference (something never seen in MOOCS by me until now). Very few and minor errors found in the materials and quizzes. Hopefully materials are updated regularly. In year 2024 versions of several tools were a bit outdated but it was manageable.

Per my needs, this specialization has been an excellent addition to my skill set. For me, Kubernetes was demystified here, through the lectures, companion pdf, and hands on guided lab time using Minikube and KubeCTL. Would highly recommend for (almost) anyone desiring a deeper understanding of Cloud-native Application Development, containerization, and the Kubernetes framework

I liked the full length extension of this course on kubernetes topics and also on Openshift container platform. The self-paced and bring your own computer approach is excellent in this specialization.

The courses in the Cloud-Native Development with OpenShift and Kubernetes Specialization are perhaps the best online training I have ever taken.

Overall I would recommend this course if you're interested in learning about OpenShift. The main concepts are well explained and shown in practice. However, it's a pity that Red Hat didn't test this course as there are quite evident mistakes in tests, and the handbook to which the instructor references is currently not available in course materials

Great course, but there is a mistake in final assessment "Question 13" as the choices repeated and there is no choice true..
