*Recommended* As a novice I finished the "Expressway" specialization from the same Uni/ instructor and then enrolled to "Data Wrangling with Python" specialization. This one has a higher tempo, but still, I was able to complete it without delays or confusion. Totally worth the time/ effort, as: - Instructor Di Wu's lectures offer examples and explanations - All courses are structured efficiently - Notes and exercises are very helpful - Assessment is not stressful (it mostly requires some self-discipline) If I had to pinpoint something that needs attention, that would be python syntax: However 'easy' and 'instinctive', here we have a new argument, there a new syntax shortcut, not to mention the libraries' specifics. This is not a "bad" per se, it is more of a realization of my own (non-programming) background. All in all, a great set of courses. Gonna enroll to "Data Analysis with Python" next.

I have studied Python for about two years. I thought I didn't need to start from the basics, but this course teaches the basics of Python from the basics needed to manipulate data, so even people who already know Python can learn it again. I was able to manipulate and retrieve data, and deepen my knowledge of pandas and numpy. I especially recommend this course to people who have basic knowledge of Python.

I love learning with Mr Di. His courses are among the best I've tried to date.

Personally, I already took the Expressway to Data Science: Python course, which is the same material, just presented much slower. Skip this course if you've taken that, otherwise, it's a good initial understanding.

the python, data structures sections were good. numpy and pandas were horrible. they didn't have enough hands-on labs like the first two sections. they just had demo files so we could kim through them. the case study, unlike what the course suggests, was not about applying our knowledge. it was another demo file that we had to skim through. i would watch a couple of youtube videos if i wanted to read code and not implement. don't waste your time on this course if you wanna learn numpy and pandas which are the core libraries of data wrangling. watch a couple of youtube videos and you're better off. this course was a total rip off. wasted more than a week of my time and also my money.
