This class provides a great background on getting a job not just for management consulting but is very applicable for other jobs as well, especially in the technology field including roles in product management and engineering, where case interviews are used, and building a network is important as well. First and foremost, the course content was comprehensive and highly relevant to the consulting industry. It covered a wide range of topics, from strategic consulting frameworks to practical case studies, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the field. The instructors were experts in their respective areas, and their real-world insights added immense value to the learning process. The course delivery was exceptional. It was structured in a way that allowed for both self-paced learning and engaging live sessions. Not much to say other that it's a very interesting course in which i have learned a lot. It provides a lot of interesting tips and some tricks about the topic and there's always key takeaways. The teacher's presentations are very good and very motivational, which is part of the reason why i will keep following the specialization course. That being said, i might halt a bit the progress as one of the presentation it was mentioned accounting, and its another entire unknown topic to me, to which i now have a little bit of curiosity. Thank you and see you in course 3!

I took this course leading up to my first ever case interview. While I could not fit every detail of my career into the short time frame (30min behavior/ 30min Case), topics from this course helped me make sure the things I spoke about were relevant to what skills they look for, showed my genuine interest in their company over others, as well as taking time to sound thoughtful and logical. Above all, this course continues to support my growing interest in consulting.

Awesome course. John does a great job of detailing information, and providing key points (which he revisits just to make sure you catch them) and had a ton of useful links and additional training websites to visit for more information. John also has little additional readings from his blog throughout the course that cover other points of the information to make sure you've got it down, and truly understand what being a consultant is all about

Most of the information may be already known for those who thinking about consulting long time, but for beginners it is just perfect. So many topics, so many tips and clues how to get prepared for consulting job hunting. And I guess the most important is that this course give perspective on what consulting really is.
