Introduction to Image Generation
This course introduces diffusion models, a family of machine learning models that recently showed promise in the image generation space. Diffusion models draw inspiration from physics, specifically thermodynamics. Within the last few years, diffusion models became popular in both research and industry. Diffusion models underpin many state-of-the-art image generation models and tools on Google Cloud. Very clean explanation on how a diffusion model works at its core, not super clear how text to image works on the other hand, you probably need the intro to LLMs for that.

Reviewed Sep 24, 2023This 10-minute video course is like a Google search for the definitions of the major terms. Personally, I don't think it comes under short course; it is like a superficial definition-based short-video. It could have been a better short course. Maybe a better option will be to club all the introduction courses from Google Cloud together. Also, I wouldn't insist on a certification for this course.

Reviewed May 17, 2024Feels more like a corporate press release than a lesson. A lot of concepts and words are introduced and never explained, and some of the explanation is unnecessarily complicated. And this is coming from an ML engineer who already knows most of these terms.
