The best online coding course I have taken. The instructor was very enthusiastic and energetic! I wish there was better help available when encountering coding problems... that is my only complaint.
Crash Course on Python
This course is designed to teach you the foundations in order to write simple programs in Python using the most common structures. No previous exposure to programming is needed. By the end of this course, you will understand the benefits of programming in IT roles; understand basic Python syntax; explore different code editors and developer environments; be able to write simple programs using Python; figure out how the building blocks of programming fit together; and combine all of this knowledge to solve a complex programming problem. We'll start off by diving into the basics of writing a computer program. Along the way, you’ll get hands-on experience with programming concepts through interactive exercises and real-world examples. You’ll quickly start to see how computers can perform a multitude of tasks — you just have to write code that tells them what to do.

Great content and quiz material! Some of the questions on the quizzes I submitted were correct, but I got it wrong somehow. I still haven't received feedback on the forums or the ticket I submitted.

Very good crash course. Considering myself not a Python novice, maybe intermediate level, I even learned something new. Don't expect to be a Python expert after this, though, as it is a crash course.

I really loved the course. Tutor is great, she is very good at teaching. I was a beginner in Python programming, now I am familiar with more python. Thank you Coursera for providing me financial aid.

Very thorough coursework. The approach was a little reversed from other python intro courses but i appreciated this method as it felt more natural. Looking forward to the rest of the specialization.

Overall its good, but the subjects of the quizzes are harder and more confusing than the actual python concepts. I think the subjects should be simple and easy so that the focus in on the language.

The course require attention to the material, because the practice quiz and the graded assessment require the student to combine some skill or material to complete the task. It is difficult, but fun

This is actually a really great start for beginners in python. I am an intermediate python developer so for me it was too basic, but still a nice refresher for all the basics that we sometimes forget.

It's one of the best courses available on the internet. They have covered real-world examples and believe me, you will enjoy those challenges. Take it if you want to learn the Python in a right way.
