This course provides a hands-on approach to learning Web3.js and building decentralized applications using blockchain technology. Perfect for developers keen on blockchain development.
While there are nuggets of value in this course, overall it is riddled with errors and does not cover what the description says. Very frustrating and I wish I spent my time somewhere else. I finished just out of principe. Here is the list: 1. Web3.js is NOT used in this course. Ethers.js is used instead so the entire course is misleading. 2. There are several spots where the module intro doesn't match what's in the following lessons for example no lesson covers actually creating smart contracts. 3. There are many errors in the quizzes and in some videos they are calling Addresses transactions. 4. Command line is not Web3!! This whole course was supposed to be about Web3 and Web3.js but neither is actually covered in this course. 5. There are actually questions in quizzes about irrelevant command line instead of the actual topic of the course and the same basic questions from early in the course show up repeatedly throughout the course quizzes so they don't actually test for knowledge on the current module.
