Exceptional lecture! The pieces of information given were detailed and comprehensive.

The course provides key design techniques and practical application aspects in designing HVAC systems. The course takes the learner through the typical process of designing HVAC systems, particularly for Buildings, with various applications. This course will help learners to design HVAC systems for buildings with a practical approach and real time methods used in the industry. The course covers the fundamental concepts of Air-conditioning and refrigeration systems along with the important calculations, standards used to design efficient air-conditioning and ventilation systems. Learner will also gain knowledge on various life safety systems used in buildings during fire / emergency conditions. Real time examples of Heat load calculations, Chiller piping size calculations, condenser piping size calculations, Pump head calculations are taught to learners in this course by L&T’s Subject matter experts who themselves have worked on designing many iconic buildings in India and abroad. Learners are also taught about various types of HVAC equipment’s, building side components, valves, and variable refrigerant flow system. This information with real time site installation photographs will help learners understand the systems and components with better clarity.

IA
this course is one the best course for beginner I highly recommend it.
PM
Very good course. Requires more time on calculation with charts
PY
Gold rate easy to understand and learn new things
SB
My concepts are becoming crystal clear. Wonderful videos and beautifully explained
MK
This course is essential for any mechanical engineer, especially those working in the field of ventilation and cooling.
RR
Deeply explained about the Pressurization and smoke system by L&T edu members. Thanks

I love Coursera but this has been the worst of all courses in terms of delivery of material by instructors. The pace, tone, pitch, and organization of thoughts could have been far better with minimal additional effort. Although, the material of course was OK, I would not take another course from these instructors nor would recommend to anyone because it seems like the quality of Coursera has gone down by orders of magnitude.
full of mistakes in the tests, bad English, finished it for the certificate but it was horrible....

I think that if You uppload the presentations of the course, it can be more complete, because the students can be study for the exams more easily
Terrible course. Hard to follow. Many technical content issues as well such as: 1) Relative humidity definition inconsistency across 3 slides, without explanation. 2) Variables units not defined in enthalpy slides. 3) Type-o's on equations (missing brackets). 4) Quiz questions ask things about concepts not actually taught (Ex: Specific humidity) 5) Accepted Quiz answers are actually wrong (An evaporator does NOT cool the refrigerant)

The course moves very quickly and there are no handouts or pdf's to help you along so I had to pause frequently and take lots of notes . They should have at least offered a pdf of the psychromatic chart so that the learner can follow along. I located a version online that could be printed but it was with American values instead of metric so I had to do a lot of converting.
If I could leave a lower review than 1 star I would. This course was by far one of the worst courses I have ever taken in my life. The only information I managed to glean from it was thanks to me just googling the topic and reaffirming my knowledge by asking AI. If you are looking into getting into HVAC, DO NOT take this course, just watch some youtube videos or something that don't have indian units and are riddled with grammar errors. OVERALL this course is not a 5 star review, if you look all the 5 star reviews are bot reviews to barely keep the negative reviews from making this a 1 star course.

There was good content and explained in detail
Very interesting cours. I recommand.
It was well explained
excellent
There is a lot of valuable information in this course, and most concepts are adequately explained. However, the units frequently switch between the International System and the Imperial System, which can be confusing and time-consuming for learners to follow. Additionally, the use of many acronyms may add to this confusion. Despite these issues, I enjoyed the course and would recommend it.
Difficult to understand accent and words chosen, unrelateable locations and examples
