I must admit that my overall experience left much to be desired. While the content of the course itself was insightful and informative, several significant issues greatly impacted my learning journey.
First and foremost, the instructor's proficiency in English was questionable, which hindered my comprehension of the course materials. Furthermore, the accuracy of the lesson transcripts was often questionable, making it difficult to rely on them for reference or clarification. Additionally, the instructor's delivery was disappointingly mechanical at times, as it was obvious that she was reading from a script rather than speaking from a place of expertise and enthusiasm. This lack of genuine engagement made it challenging to stay engaged and motivated throughout the course.
Another frustrating issue was being given reading assignments and then being given invalid links.
One of the most significant drawbacks of the course was the grading system, which relied heavily on peer assessment. This approach seemed inherently unfair, as it often felt like my assignments were being evaluated by individuals with no more expertise than I possessed, which diminished the credibility of the course's assessment process.
These issues collectively overshadowed the positive aspects of the course, leading to a less-than-satisfactory learning experience for me.
