It looks like it is only US focused. all the measurements, geography, to be able to answer some questions you need to have the knowledge about the US, which I find pity.
The Advanced Data Visualization with Tableau Course teaches you how to create advanced data visualizations such as dual-axis charts, bar-in-bar charts, and more. You will also learn how to customize and add complexity to your visualizations by incorporating the use of features such as maps, map customization, polygon spatial data, and more. These skills will allow you to effectively communicate insights to your stakeholders.
This course is for anyone who is curious about entry-level roles that demand fundamental Tableau skills, such as business intelligence analyst or data reporting analyst roles. It is recommended (but not required) that you have some experience with Tableau Public, but even if you're new to Tableau Public, you can still be successful in this program. By the end of the course, you will be able to: -Create advanced data visualizations to communicate analytic insights to the intended stakeholders, such as dual-axis charts, bar-in-bar charts, and more. -Create and customize spatial analytics data visualizations to communicate insights to the intended stakeholders, such as maps, map customization, polygon spatial data, and more. -Add complexity to the visualizations produced in your analysis by incorporating detail and multilayers.

As promised and after a little bit of a scare there with the 8th course I am now changing my review. The Professional certificate throughout all the 8 courses involved in attaining it was at times intense but worth every minute committed. I enjoyed learning more about Tableau and its interface through the creation of specific visualizations created from accessible data/data sets.
I really learned how to create several different advanced chart types which is useful for my job. Great course!
I have tried hard to enjoy these classes, but just going on the salesforce/Tableau free training website is a similar option. The whole course has just been super low effort. There is one video with instructions per topic. The entire appeal of this platform is having instructors lead you in video format. All this information is easily obtained by going to a website and reading an article, but many people want a more interactive style of learning. The only exciting part was doing the hands-on lessons. If they added many more videos that walked you through many different data sets and showed you which viz works best for each type of data, it would be a better value.
Most of the advanced chart types taught in this course were new for me, having used Tableau for my job for 3 years in the past. I was so surprised at how easy they seemed when they were shown in video/GIF but when I tried them on my own it was a bit more difficult. This course is a great resource!
Inspiring experiential learning for Advanced Data Visualization with Tableau. Experience to learn new skills of highly demanding & mind blowing and thought provoking, was a superb learning from my instructors especially Brooke Haag. Stay smart, happy and blessed always.

Amazing Course
Great Course
Great work!

Good
This course is pretty helpful in showing what Tableau can do and introducing different types of visualization. Sometimes (just few lessons) I wasn't sure where to download the data that was used in the example though, which was a little bit annoying because I wanted to follow the steps in gif. Looking forward to checking out the following courses in this series.
Not very well put together. Not developed for Coursera. Multimedia tools are not functional, yet depended upon for a large majority of the instructional material. There are also a few outsourced lessons, leading to a misleading introduction of this course.
