In Risk, Ethics, and Governance in Technological Innovation, the second course of the Technology Leadership in the Age of AI specialization, we shift focus from development to potential impact. What do technology leaders need to be aware of when it comes to the potential impacts of developing new technologies? You will become aware of key legal considerations to keep in mind when developing new technologies – things such as negligence, privacy, contracts, and intellectual property rights. You will also be prepared to deal with the technological risks your enterprise faces, and to plan for the possible effects of these risks. Finally, you will come away from this program with an understanding of how emerging technologies, particularly AI, are likely to be regulated or not regulated, to empower you to strategize amidst the ever-changing technological landscape.
