The course develops the concept of leadership as a process involving the interaction among leaders, followers, and situations. It focuses on the nature of the leadership process itself as well as how a person becomes a better leader. The course delves into a deeper understanding of the three factors: attributes of the leader, the followers, and the situation. It also addresses the essential leadership competencies appropriate to each of these broad areas. The course highlights the concept of follower motivation, satisfaction, engagement, and performance. The course also uncovers the dark sides of leadership and highlights the causes of managerial incompetence.

When will I have access to the lectures and assignments?
To access the course materials, assignments and to earn a Certificate, you will need to purchase the Certificate experience when you enroll in a course. You can try a Free Trial instead, or apply for Financial Aid. The course may offer 'Full Course, No Certificate' instead. This option lets you see all course materials, submit required assessments, and get a final grade. This also means that you will not be able to purchase a Certificate experience.
What will I get if I purchase the Certificate?
