Bio

Christopher Murphy is an academic at the University of Sydney, holding dual appointments across the Business School and the Faculty of Medicine and Health. Christopher is an active member of the Leeder Centre for Health Policy, Economics and Data. Christopher’s research interests centre on strategy making, markets, and decision-making. Christopher has taught strategy at the executive level for more than a decade and has won numerous Dean’s Citations for Outstanding Teaching. Christopher leads the ‘Design Strategy’ unit within the University of Sydney’s MBA program, which sits at the intersection of corporate strategy and engineering design. The unit enjoys deep engagement with industry and government partners, and has resulted in several spin-offs and corporate entrepreneurship engagements.
