Bio

Jonathan Garb, Gershom Scholem Professor of Kabbalah, teaches Jewish and Comparative Mysticism in the Department of Jewish Thought and in the School of Philosophy and Religions at Hebrew University. His books in English are: The Chosen will Become Herds: Studies in Twentieth Century Kabbalah; Shamanic Trance in Modern Kabbalah. He also co-edited (with Prof. Philip Wexler), After Spirituality: Studies in Mystical Traditions.
