While the course content and labs were great, the AI grading for the final project was inconsistent and did not appear to evaluate submissions accurately. On my first submission, the AI grader clearly identified which sections were correct and which required improvement. For my second submission, I revised only the sections flagged for improvement and left the sections marked as correct unchanged. However, after resubmitting, the AI grader marked several sections that were previously identified as correct as incorrect, despite no changes being made to those sections. I contacted Coursera and consulted the AI Tutor for clarification, but unfortunately, I did not receive a response or resolution. Overall, the course content and assignments were very strong, engaging, in‑depth, and effective in reinforcing concepts from earlier courses in the specialization. However, navigating the inconsistent AI grading process was frustrating and stressful, which detracted from an otherwise good learning experience.

Additionally, the ECBA exam module isn't entirely reliable, as the questions in the module are less challenging than those in the actual exam, and the IIBA exam format has changed.

Reviewed Feb 13, 2026The third party app grading the assignment is very bad. I uploaded the same pdf 3 different times with 3 totally different results. The AI isn't capturing the full data on the pdf as its remarks keep highlighting parts and sections that apparently were not answered or data was never entered. Also, the mark on the provided pdf is very different than the one seen on the web. for example: I got 52 shown on the web, but the grading summary on the last page of the pdf was 68.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The AI grading of the final project doesn't fails to recognize the text and issues a failing grade. This is a known problem and several students have needed to ask for manual grading in the discussion forum. The course moderators have been unresponsive in the forum and students are left with no options to get this issue corrected. The Coursera support team is also unhelpful; the best they can do is reach out to the same unresponsive course moderators and ask for help. This has been a big waste of time if I can't get the final grade posted to receive the certificate. The IBM skills network team needs to fix this immediately.
