Welcome to Fundamentals of Data Warehousing, the third course of the Key Technologies of Data Analytics specialization. However, there are several areas that need improvement: 🔹 More Hands-on Exercises – The course lacks practical implementation. Adding interactive labs or real-world exercises would enhance learning. 🔹 Cloud-Based Project – Including at least one hands-on project on a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) would make the learning experience more applicable to industry needs. 🔹 More Video Content – The course relies too much on reading materials. More video explanations with demonstrations would improve engagement and understanding. Overall, it’s a good theoretical introduction, but it needs more practical applications and interactive content to be truly effective.

Reviewed Jan 10, 2023The course is nothing more than reading documentation on other websites. There is no actual educational material in this course from LearnQuest. Also, there are numerous mistakes in the quizzes, in that you can answer a question correctly, yet still get marked wrong. In fact, on one of the ungraded quizzes, you can give the correct answer and get credit for it, yet in the graded exam itself, you don't get credit for the exact same answer. That is unacceptable. This course had no QA whatsoever, I feel. I gave it two stars, rather than just one, since there is some educational value from the third party resources, but from LearnQuest itself, virtually none.

Reviewed Feb 28, 2024Concepts are useful, but the course has several broken links to external readings, which are needed to progress. Several Quiz answers grade you as wrong when you provide the correct answers. The feedback even tells you you got the answer right, but the quiz marks it as wrong. It seems like the course either hasn't been updated recently, and given a quality control check lately, or it didn't get one in the first place.

I've flagged a few things, and while I'll take the next course it's more about letting you know where to fix things to make this a better course.
