Bonjour chers Professeurs,

Mille mercis.

The 'Project Planning: Putting It All Together' course can be challenging, given its comprehensive coverage of project planning. The course does require a significant investment of time and effort, as it pushes you to analyze, synthesize, and apply a wide range of project management principles. However, it's important to remember that this rigor and depth also make it an incredibly valuable learning experience. The skills you acquire here will be applicable in a variety of professional contexts. If you find certain sections particularly difficult, I'd recommend taking notes.

This is a very helpful course and walks learners through many of the practical aspects to putting a project together. The one thing I might change would be to make those hands-on experiences a more salient aspect of the course, i.e., necessary to complete before one receives the course certificate. I was surprised that I had the certificate issued to me before I'd done the last synthesis activities of having a project plan with links to budget, communication plan, etc., in one place. Overall, one of the most helpful courses I've experienced though - well done!

The course has a great structure, it has great examples that help you understand the concepts. The graded practices area a good tool that help you to put all the new knowledge at work. Have to say that the course was not easy and you need to really put time to the sessions and understand the concepts to use them, the level on the courses goes up every time. I am very happy that even when i had previos knowledge and professional practice i have new tools and comprehension on the topics that before were not so solid. I recommend to take the full certificate.

I am a Project Manager and have years of experience. The company where I am employed has always frowned on certification claiming we work in a very specialized field and extremely proprietary. I'm also understanding that a lot of our policies and procedures are based upon the PMBPK. I have learned several new things that I have already applied with great success.

This latest course was filled with new approaches and she is a very effective communicator.

I'm enjoying this course very much and look forward to the next chapters and taking the exam!

Exceptionally well put; following on the steps of the two previous courses, this course will guide individuals with interest in project management through some of the most important aspects of the professional body of knowledge and practices of the PM job.

I highly recommend this couse with anyone who is interested in starting a career in PM. For practioners, it would be hard for me to imagine that the course will add new knowledge to you, but it is certinly a nece refresher with some intellignet tips here and there.

I was able to own: Planning and organization skills, organization skills, project management skills, project planning, planning, analysis and risk management. I add that project planning is a group activity, not an individual activity, and everyone who will be involved should be part of developing the project plan and agreeing on deadlines, resources and what needs to be done, and should also be able to see the project plan on an ongoing basis to check what needs to be done. Thanks Curesera -Google

Hi,

To be honest I was really worried about this course when I read that we would be discussing things like budget and the procurement process. But the course material and the practice exercises are so well designed that not only did I complete the course, I did so with flying colours. Have scrored the highest in this course so far on my learning journey and I'm feeling extremely happy and confident about completing the remaining 3 courses too. :)

Thank you so much for making learning fun and easy!

While I do understand the value of peer reviewed grading, unfortunately what I'm finding is that many assignments are incomplete or wrong, and it is taking a significant amount of time to correct and give feedback, meanwhile, it takes longer still to receive grading for my own assignments. I would suggest a priority queue, where after having completed the peer-grading requirement, your submitted assignment would get bumped up to those who are in the process of grading.

So informative! There are many hands-on assignments in this chapter, and I really felt connected to the course material! I likened it to finally needing to be sure about your college major, because you're in the thick of doing the work and if you don't like it by now....it might not be your thing. I was very EXCITED to continue learning and can't wait to get to the next chapter! Congrats on making it to 4/6, and good luck if you're thinking about starting!

Night and day compared to the Course 2.

Course 3 is awesome! It requires you to LOGICALLY think on a problem or question rather than paying attention on the irrelevant information (as in Course 2).

In Course 3, the questions and answers, the problems and solutions, the tasks and review methodologies were totally clear and straightforward.

There were, of course, some hick-ups, but only a few and nothing serious to have an impact on the whole impression.

Very useful, very well put together, with a lot of activities and examples to really share knowledge. And the other students in this course were very useful fo offer new perspective. Thank you for this great course. With this cession of the certificate, you can now have a better view of what is really project management and all it implicates. You can quickly understand that it is really a team effort, and you are merely a "chef d'orchestre".

On behalf of the learning journey, I’ve gained more practical tools in PM. The most important takeaway for me is: 1. I gained a perspective of continuous learning: learning by doing and practicing. We can improve ourselves no matter what you’ve achieved in the workplace. 2. Methodology simplifies the work process and accelerates its pace. 3. Both in the workplace and personal lives, we can use PM technical to improve our quality of life.

If you planning to get started in project management, this is one of those important course you need to take. Google did a wonderful job with this course and I learnt a lot myself like communication: its value and best practices, project documentation : tools, value and best practices, Budgeting: techniques, best approaches and so on down to risk management, procurement, scheduling and more. I had a wonderful experience with this course.

The organization of the content is excellent with a variety of videos, readings, quizzes, and activities. The material covered is perfect for a project manager or really anyone wanting to "bring order to chaos". Even on topics that I am already familiar with, there is always a small additional nugget of information that adds a new perspective or tool for my work. I'm deeply appreciative for the thoughtful way this has been put together.

Some concepts were really new to me like SMART, the P.A.R.I.S resume formula. There were many thing I did not know and this course provided me exactly what I wanted. It is a great course. I will advice students to take notes frequently when you take up this course it will be very helpful in actual project documentation. Maybe you are stuckup with something and can't find a way out, well your notes will lead you through.

I enjoyed the course and it provides me with so much insights on project planning, one suggestion from me is to put a bit more emphasis on the Critical Path Method so students can learn how to identify it quantitatively, other than that this course is pretty well-made especially for beginners. Thank you Google and Coursera for making this program available, and thank you to Rowena for being a wonderful instructor.

Plan, Plan, Plan, Project Plant Pals... some case study to go in depth about project management. For sure to keep going with project management one of the first step is to be engaged any time, anyday and think everytime how to do better... a continuous improvement is a great dig onto to the ground to put all the acknowledgement. A very helfpul course for all whoever want to understand better and plan the best.

I came from marketing background so a lot of knowledge in the course is something I've already known from years of working experience, but it is still good to go through it and relearn in an organised way, Plus to get a certificate to put on resume.

This course provide solid knowledge and good practice on the assignments though the real world project planning is way complicated and a lot of roadblocks.

The entire course was amazing and really enlightening. I learned about the planning stage of the project, schedulling, budget, and risk management.

I also learned key skills such as vendor management, risk analysis, budget estimation, and procurement. I have implemented most of the skills and knowledge learned into my daily activities and I'm amazed at my growth.

Thank you for the learning opportunity

The course is very rich and easy to follow and I have learnt a lot, but for the communication plan part I felt not very sure about what I was doing, I felt the scenario for the quiz to create a communication plan was not clear enough. The role of each team member, the key key members were somehow overlapping for me and not that clear where to assign each team member to each task. Thank you

By far one of the best courses I've attanded! not only on project management, but in general! great work Google and Coursera teams. I would definitely recommend this (and all other courses in project management specialization) to anyone, who would be interested in picking up project management skills. special thanks to all your templates and guidances, and learning by doing techniques!
