The program covers the gastrointestinal, urinary, reproductive, and musculoskeletal systems, from the abdomen and pelvis to the limbs, at the depth of medical school foundational coursework. You begin with the abdominal wall, peritoneum, and gastrointestinal viscera, then move through the kidneys and urinary tract, the bony pelvis and reproductive systems, and the upper and lower limbs.
You will trace the vascular supply of the abdomen and pelvis, explain glomerular filtration and tubular reabsorption, compare male and female reproductive anatomy, and localize peripheral nerve lesions such as carpal tunnel syndrome from the deficits they cause.
Clinical correlations appear in every course. Lessons are taught by physician and PhD faculty and organized so each region builds on the terminology and physiological principles established before it.
This program builds directly on Medical School Anatomy and Physiology I, and completion of that certificate (or equivalent foundational coursework) is recommended. Whether you are continuing your MD, DO, PA, or NP preparation or simply want a rigorous account of the body, this program picks up where that foundation leaves off.
Applied Learning Project
The program closes with a patient-case essay project focused on regional anatomy. Learners receive a clinical vignette and write a structured analysis: localize the problem to specific anatomical structures, trace the relevant vascular or neural pathway, and explain the functional consequences.
Learners submit a written analysis, scored against a rubric for anatomical precision, clinical reasoning, and correct terminology. Learners finish with a case write-up demonstrating the regional, applied reasoning that medicine, PA, and NP training expect.
