Covers topics such as defining health equity, engaging community and policy stakeholders, patient-centeredness, cultural competence, and dissemination of research findings. Content will recognize different geographic, cultural, and social contexts where health inequities occur.

This module will provide an introduction to health equity research. In this module, we discuss enhancing patient-centeredness, increasing cultural competence, and reducing bias to build community trust and implement interventions to eliminate health disparities.

This course was engaging and thorough. I would've liked to study more real world examples and had more time with professors telling their stories from out in the field.

Except for the contents Week 4, all the lectures were very informative and thought-provoking. Week 4 was barely audible and too much mumbling going on.
