Video instruction is OK but just get thrown into the water with the assignments and not enough instruction is provided to get the assignments done. I could not finish this course.

Good course in term of conceptual learning, especially for making learners aware of various aspects of testing web & mobile application. In term of practical learning, this course is quite lacking in the feedback to learners. Learners have to figure out the problem and solution by themselves without proper guidance.

Would be better also if there is sample back-end web testing (e.g. REST API) in addition to front-end Automation using Selenium/Appium.

For the Appium & JMeter assignments, it would be better to include diagram of the test system. Learners could benefit from understanding the interconnection between test system components and easier to setup the test environment

The Indian Teacher's communication is so weak. I am not even able to understand what he means to say even with the subtitles on.

This course was a waste of time due to this.

this course does not show installation on Mac or Linux, it still provides a valuable overview of the basics that can help someone understand how Selenium works. This knowledge will enable someone to more easily install and configure the software for their own environment as well as create automated tests with greater efficiency.

I feel like I've mostly wasted my time on this course. I did learn quite a bit from the videos about testing strategies but then in week 2 was dumped into a programing assignment with no instruction and a related quiz that does not seem to accept correct answers to on what seems to be correctly submitted code and no response to people seeking help. Rather than wasting more time I will be unenrolling.

Didn't like the assignment at week2, your lines of code are checked as string = string, it causes some issues.

And a lot of tasks similar to each other, it is just boring to type/copy paste them all.

But the most of the video materials are great.

its really a hard and incomplete informational course because their environment setup took lot o time and its not easy to do that

Week 2: Functional Testing with Selenium The Graded Assignment answer has some serious issues. Many students reported this problem, but the instructor didn't fix the problem. For this one quiz, I am not able to gain my certificate. This is a waste of both money and time.

It's good and you learn a lot, but most of the stuff you have to do it alone, the videos offered no guidance on the set-up of the tools. However, on the other side, I learned a lot about concepts, and they were very well explained!

Es un basura de curso, las asignaciones practicas no estan bien especificadas y tienes que andar adivinando lo que tienes que enviar, ponen ejemplos super basicos y absurdos y las tareas las dejan super complicadas. El ultimo curso fue el mas horrible, en la asignacion de selenium, el sistema de califiacion esta mal y tarde demasiado en aprobar el curso por eso, jamas volveria a tomar un curso de University of Minnesota

Such outdated courses where assignments are not working because of 10+ years old code and software requirement must be removed from Coursera. Do not spend your time here!
