TLDR: good content, good instructor, bad pacing towards the end, bad typos, really bad final project and grading system This course is my first letdown of the specialization. There are the classic typos and quiz errors that have been present in the Meta courses, but the information is still good. It encompasses the main UI elements needed to build slightly more complicated Android UI with Compose. There is no XML. But the need to break the videos into something more colorful is noted here.

There is so much information provided and while some information has mini exercises provided, not all do and the quality becomes laughable towards the end. The final project was too simple and allowed for no creativity in incorporating what was learned. It was code by numbers. Not to mention that this course is not highly transited, so you'll be waiting for a classmate to grade your zip file upload, which most peers only upload empty word files(why is there no file checker?).

Great teaching and content. The fact that puts me off is these modules have been recorded ages ago relative to the current advancements in the platforms/software. You might have to spend really enough amount of time figuring out the diffrenceup&down.

in this module, none of the code provided works. Everything opens up with errors. If I knew about Android studio, I would fix it. But I don't know much about Android Studio...this is why I'm here. Of all the modules in this certification, this one, Create the User Interface in Android Studio, is the one where I am learning the least. I'm going through the quizzes and answering the questions righting, but I haven't accomplished a single thing in Android Studio itself yet, and this is the reason why I took the course.

This was a really great and practical learning experience. The skills taught in the course are exactly what I needed to get started and create my apps.

Great course by Meta. Highly recommended for beginners. This course include many aspects of UI creation using Jetpack Compose and others.

The course helps me to build useful UI in Android and equip more knowledge in Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.

This is the worst course in the Android certification program. The exercises are riddled with errors; whether you get them right depends entirely on guessing—it’s all up to luck.

Really Awesome If any one want really to Start new career in Native Android App Development I advice him to start with this specialization

This course helped me lay the foundation of learning Kotlin which I always wanted to learn in way that i was very much expecting.
