While the course covers the basics, it is not maintained. A lot of mistakes in both quizzes and course material. Worst part, a lot of those mistakes were reported MONTHS ago in discussion forums but no action was ever taken.

This course was absolutely fantastic, and the instructor was top-notch. I'm immensely grateful to Coursera for providing such an enriching learning experience. Thank you! 🌟🙌

To all the beginners who want to know about Mobile Application Development for Cross-Platform, I do recommend this course, and great to start.

It needs to be updated and revised. Some questions have wrong answers for example in Module quiz: React Navigation Graded Assignment question 10 (this will throw the error HomeScreen and SettingsScreen are not imported. The versions in the materials are outdated.

Really well-structured ... some parts (especially for React Navigation) should be aligned with the latest APIs

To be honest, compared to other courses I've taken here, this one seemed really bad.

Nice course. I liked the structure and strategy for learning. I feel this is a great course if you're completely new to React Native, but know some other programming structure, ideally React or at least HTML and CSS. I already knew Flutter before taking the course, but I didn't know React and don't know CSS that well. I was able to go through the course quickly and easily. I feel I should take another course on JavaScript at some point. For this course, there's not so much programming, so my lack of knowledge on JavaScript or React was surprisingly not a problem. I can create React Native mobile apps now, which is a good outcome. I would be interested in taking another course like this on related topics such authentication, data parsing, database communication, device storage for images.

Actually, I should say something about this course. When I started this course, my knowledge of React Native was nil. However, as I continued following this course, I realized that it was a perfect course for learning React Native. The lectures were especially clear and easy to understand for me. I have a lot of respect for the teacher who has provided us with all these lessons. The content of this course is very important, and I am very happy that I have been able to start my journey with React Native very successfully.

I highly recommend React Native to anyone interested in mobile app development. The course I took through Coursera was comprehensive and well-structured, providing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of React Native. The instructors were knowledgeable and engaging, and the hands-on projects helped me put my new skills into practice.

Overall this is great. precise, to the point and with enough details. But for practical development with node development environment there is not enough material... I struggled a bit with terminal and then decided to use online on expo.dev.

The course is very easy to understand for beginners. As a result, for me who is familiar with React JS and is new to React Native, I was able to quickly understand the whole course. Thanks, Meta, for the amazing course :)

love the course it was fully explanatory not just theorical but with detailed self explained videos, and also loved the task given and the solution provided after the completion of the task which was also very detailed.

It was a little slow moving, but that actually turned out to make it much easier to absorb - it covered all of the key stuff to quickly start coding using React Native. I would recommend.

Great course. Thought it'd fly by just because I knew React, but mobile apps and websites are different to design and build for. Definitely more confident in my skills though!
